We came near the last weekend the campground was open. It was pretty quiet. It was also Halloween weekend. Looked like they had a bunch of stuff for the kids. Band and food truck at the beach. The coffee truck in the morning was great. We really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to coming again.

We had a wonderful stay at this campground! Our waterfront site was absolutely amazing, and the views were beautiful. 🌊❤️ We would definitely come back because the waterfront sites are hard to beat!
There were a few things that could have made our stay better. The check-in situation was confusing and unfortunately became frustrating. I had added a second site the day before, and the morning of check-in, a staff member kindly moved our reservation so we wouldn’t have to move our camper. With a 1-year-old and a 5-year-old with special needs, I was incredibly grateful for that accommodation.
Unfortunately, when we arrived, the evening staff gave us conflicting information and the interaction became unnecessarily unpleasant. I was simply trying to understand which site we were supposed to use, especially since our paperwork, parking tags, golf cart information and map all reflected the updated site. I understand that staff have rules they have to follow, but the way the situation was handled could have been much more customer-friendly.
The next morning, the staff member who originally helped us called to make sure everything was okay and explained that she had forgotten to update the reservation in their book. That definitely helped explain the confusion.
The campground itself could also use some updating. The playground had broken equipment, there were water balloons left throughout the area, and the jump pad was broken. The splash pad was also working on and off during our stay. Unfortunately, several activities were canceled the day before, including the band, even though the weather was beautiful. The campground manager did make an effort to make up for it by providing music the night before, which we appreciated.
Overall, we really did enjoy our stay. The waterfront sites are beautiful, and we would return. I just hope the campground continues to work on maintenance and, especially, customer service. A little clearer communication and kindness at check-in would make a big difference in an otherwise wonderful place! ❤️

We recently stayed here and, while the bay-front sites were absolutely beautiful, unfortunately the campground itself was very disappointing.
A major concern was the condition of the amenities, especially the playground. Some of the equipment was broken, and my son nearly fell through the platform on the slide, which was extremely alarming. The jump pillow was also out of order, the bounce house was in really poor condition and filled with water, and the splash pad barely worked. With so many families coming here specifically for the amenities, it was frustrating to see so many of them either broken or not properly maintained.
We were also disappointed that the scheduled band was cancelled despite the weather being beautiful. We understand that plans can change, but considering the limited functioning amenities, this was another thing that took away from the overall experience.
The bay-front location and views are definitely beautiful, but unfortunately the condition of the campground and amenities did not match what we expected for the price. We really hope management puts some attention into repairs, cleanliness, and safety because this campground has so much potential.
